Walnut Grove Roundabout Project

Terrific opportunity to support Walnut Grove communiy install a large pollinator sanctuary.  They approached us to help them after learning about our pollinator garden in Social Circle.  We presented a design with plant selections & budget.  Following approval of our proposal they created the bed under our direction, edged it, tilled in compost & now its ready to plant.  We are seeking 3 or more Master Gardeners to help on installation day by siting plants based upon our design and instructing the Walnut Grove on installation best practices along with longterm maintenance instruction.  Th Walnut Grove team will do all the heavy lifting.  Our role is strictly mentorship.  (Unless of course you just can't help yourself and must pick up a shovel!)  This garden will help spread our reach into Walnut Grove!  Come join us, it will be a fun day.   Bring a watering can, yardstick, tape measure & garden flags if you have them.  Meet at the roundabout,  138 & Walnut Grove Parkway.   At The Grove Wine & Spirits on 138, turn onto Walnut Grove Parkway which is almost right across the stree from it.  Roundabout is about 0.1 mile from that intersection.
