About the event

She will discuss how to create a bat-friendly garden, by minimizing threats and planting native plants and night blooming flowers. Bats are important pollinators for many plants. However, unlike fuzzy bees, or colorful butterflies, and other daytime pollinators, bats show up at night and don’t get a lot of credit for their hard work.
