INSTALL CUTTING GARDEN & TIDY UP FRONT LANDSCAPE AT A CHILD'S VOICE. A CHILD'S VOICE IS A ADVOCACY GROUP THAT SUPPORTS CHILDREN & THEIR FAMILIES THAT HAVE EXPERIENCED SEXUAL ABUSE, EXTREME PHYSICAL ABUSE AND/OR WITNESS A VIOLENT CRIME.

About the event
We will be installing a cutting garden along with tidying up the front landscape at A Child's Voice (ACV). ACV is an advocacy group supporting all of Walton County. ACV supports children & their families who have experienced sexual abuse, severe physical abuse or witnessed a violent crime. ACV offers a calm, peaceful environment of specially trained counselers to conduct (in conjuection with the police) forensic interviews & medical exams. Additionally they offer ongoing counseling to the child & family. Finally ACV is active in public outreach and education. The cutting garden is used as a healing tool. Children are encouraged to visit the garden to collect a bouquet of flowers after each visit.
In addition to refreshing the cutting garden we will also refresh (weed, trim, deadhead, move plant material) the 2 front landsdapes. Snacks & water will be available. Please bring handtools, gloves, and spade along with sunh…
