Installation of second phase for A Child's Voice. Day will flow just as it did for the spring installation. It will kick off with adding 3 " of compost on top beds then tilling in, followed by plant installation & fertilization. Day 2 we will tackle installation of irrigation system & mulch.

About the event
A Child's Voice is an advocacy center for children and their families who have experienced sexual abuse, sexual trafficing, severe phusical abuse or have witness a violent crime. Â Â Â ACV provides forensic interviews & medical exams, family advocacy & support and community outreach & education. Â ACV has asked us to design and install a front landscape that is welcoming. Â We installed phase I in the spring & now we will be installing phase II. Â We need a number of hands to support. Â Please bring shovels, hand tools, gloves, & knee pads. Â We wil have all the plants ready and available for installation. Â First step will be to unload compost & spread over the beds, & till in. Â Ron & Janet will bring tillers. Â Then installation of plant material & fertilization. Â Day 2 (Oct 3) we will install drip irrigation (come learn as Ron leads us through the process) & mulch.
