About the event
A Childs Voice is an advocacy group for children and their families that have experienced sexual abuse, extreme physical abuse, or have witnessed violent crime. This agency supports the child by providing a gentle and loving environment to conduct forensic interviews, forensic medical exams, and offers counseling to the impacted child and their families. ACV is also active in public outreach and education. A very worthy organization that services all of Walton County.
Last year we installed front landscapes at their 2 buildings and a cutting garden. The cutting garden is enormously healing as the child is encouraged to go out and cut a bouquet following their interview/exam or anytime they come in for counseling. This year we hope to replant the cutting garden and also do a bit of tidying in the front landscapes of both buildings.
