This team will meet weekly mainly focusing on the maintenance of the veggie gardens. Key activities include seasonal planting, weeding, harvesting.

This committee will meet on the 4th Monday of each month at 1 PM in the Conference Room.

Please join us as we maintain the ELG shade & pollinator gardens at the Extension Office. Tasks include weeding, deadheading, seasonal color changes, mulching etc. We learn so much from each other & grow in our ornamental & native plant gardening skills & knowledge. All welcome!

This team will work to develop an overall strategic plan to complete remaining garden spaces in the ELG garden. This group will meet biweekly.

Worksession at Social Circle demo garden to include general maintenance of trimming, weeding, deadheading, etc. See details below. All welcome! We have lots of fun!

We will walk through the garden and have lunch at FarmView in Madison. Meet at 8AM at Extension Office to carpool.

Tour of ELG and Greenhouse by UGA Extension Agents

August 18 at 6:45 PM - Join the Walton County Master Gardeners for a fun and informative garden program on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:45 p.m. at Grizzle Beer in Monroe. Enjoy expert gardening tips, seasonal topics, plant swaps, and more in a relaxed brewery setting.

Join the buzz and help count bees, butterflies, and other pollinators as part of this fun citizen science project. Meet Billy Farmer of Billy's Bees and pick up soil sample bags and free seeds. This family friendly event is free and open to the public.
